| Can any of you chaps tell me if removing the roof rack from the G4 Sport leaves any nasty holes in the roof, or is it mounted to the roof rails ? Cheers

| Hi Mike - not that I've removed mine (or plan to do so!), I think it's just on the roof rails. I had a good look at it this weekend so I'm reasonably confident. Looks too good with it though to be reomved! Fantastic car - I'm sure you'll enjoy! Regards Chris RRS - BV55 YZD

| Cheers Chris, getting excited now ! Roofrack's coming off for purely economical reasons, I'll be storing it in the garage though and have no intentions of selling, it's part of the car. Mike

Wires for the lights may need chopping and will also have to be either removed all the way to the engine bay, taped down to the roof or tucked into the snorkle.

The wind noise and fuel 'economy' are horrific. How to remove it is going to be more of a challenge than I first thought though, having spent 10 minutes sat up on it this afternoon

| Are you sure it's the roof rack that's to blame... Not a heavy right foot or the fact is a Range Rover?

Its strange you say about the wind noise, ive not heard any other members with the rrs or d3 with that type of roof rack comment, i know there is very little wind noise from the the range rover even flat out (on a private road that is) but they fitted a trim between the bottom of the rack and the roof of the car and on the 110 it does not go fast enough for wind noise to be an issue.

I get a bit of wind noise on my D3 starts to get louder above 70mph i have asked the dealer if they made a trim from the roof rack to roof. like on a Range rover as i think that would help a lot, if any one knows of one let me know

| Taking the rack off is easy - 6 bolts and your done. There are sliding brackets that sit in the roof rails so don't forget to slide these out too.
