| Now that would be good!! As I understand it nothing that exciting, a 60th LE of some sort yes but not with a different engine this time round. I know a couple of the guys else where have managed to take deposits on a 60th!! Apparently there is something "big" comeing up but chances are it will be something green and a lot of hype.

Untoubtedly that would be an awesome vehicle but I cant see how they could ever fit it in! After all they had to cut a hole in the bonnet to make a Transit engine fit!! I do know that Discovery will get the TDV8 in the not too distant future tho, should make for an interesting drive. And there is a new 5 litre petrol unit on its way too!

| I heard a rumour a while ago someone over seas was trying to get a TDV6 to work in a Defender. Not sure how true it was and I cant see it being possible but you never know!

It's not a transit engine, the castings are the same but all the ancillaries and engine management, turbo, sump etc. are different... The Discovery 3 will not get the TDV8 until Range Rover has a higher powered oil-burner available, Discovery 3 will be getting the TDV6 three litre very soon however
A G4 Discovery3 in silver - and then some!Torq-Tune, Engine Tuning Evolved - for all current Landrovers

The 4.4 is no more for the UK, RRS and RR in petrol form are 4.2 s/c. We still sell a steady number of s/c in both RR and RRS form.
