After exchanging a few emails, it appears that Land Rover sold my G4 to the dealer in Lewes in the belief it hadn't been used in any challenge. The dealer sold it on to me on the same basis. You have to wonder what checks are in place re the sale of LR stock, or I might just be having my leg pulled. Anyway, as a gesture of goodwill they have offered to extend the LR used vehicle warranty for another 12 months!!

So I now have a 52 plate 110, used in South Africa in 03 and Bolivia in 06 with 6000m and a two year LR warranty :D

Happy days.

Father in law is waiting for delivery of his new 90 anytime now. I imagine the new engine and gearbox make a big difference. Has anyone driven one yet?

Yep, not too much though.

Very driveable on road. Fantastic with a trailer with that slightly low first. Seats more comfortable. I got an impression that the engine seemed more noisy but think it is due to the gearbox being quieter. Good heater and ventilation, actually needed to turn it DOWN!!

Off Road phenominal, almost un-stallable more driveable, engine works well with gearbox. Fairly sure TC is in a different state of tune as it walks through places the old one hesitated on. Different power delivery to get used to, once you have cracked it no problem.
