Are there any mobile phone gurus about please?
This question isn't about the G4 at all but maybe someone else has the same problem.
I never get a good signal for my Nokia mobile phone in my house.
Unlike my phone, If a c.b. radio or TV was suffering from a poor signal I could buy a booster and improve the signal for it.
Does anyone know if it's possible to boost the signal, an external ariel perhaps or other electrical booster, of my phone please?
regards
T

Might be better to change service provider. Find someone who is on a different service provider and see if the reception is better with his - if it is change.

Thanks va but it is still the same,

O2, Orage and vodaphone all used in my house.

The signal is like someone has the mast on their car and we get a signal whenever they pass through my village.

I would phone each provider and ask if there is a problem in your area.

Remember mobile phone technology seems to get weaker with each new model, prime example being Bluetooth. Early Bluetooth phones like the Nokia 6310 where very strong and would talk to just about anything. Todays Bluetooth phones are inferior, this is a big problem when trying to sell a car with Bluetooth, try explaining to someone that there all singing all danceing Blackberry is piss all use with £70k's worth of Range Rover. Goes down a treat, trust me

Back on subject... dont buy any of the boosters you see on Ebay, I have bought and sold a few in bulk in the past to make a few quid, they make no difference at all I'm afraid.

Where I live all mobiles are patchy, I'm with Orange mainly because I like to be a loyal customer and they have very good back up. Through experience if I leave my phone on an upside down glass on the kitchen table it gets a signal. No idea why but it works for me!!
