Message from Events

With 2019 upon us there are a lot of show dates that we could attend but the choice is up to you all. you can select your preferences on the forum post for events that you would like to attend.

The club will be attending Gaydon Classic Land Rover Show, Kelmarsh Land Rover Show and Peterborough LRO Show.

We have provisionally lined up our guest speaker for our christmas event and all we can say at this point is don't miss out, SAVE THE DATE! The evening party is also not to be missed.

If you have a small local car related event that you think other club members might be interested in feel free to post up on the forum and put in a request for one of the small show kits and get that big event feel for even the smallest events.

  • Support the planning, delivery and evaluation of our online and in-person events in the UK and
  globally. This includes scheduling, liaising with health professionals and facilitators, managing the
  booking process, event administration and stewardship of attendees, ensuring smooth running of the
  events, and following up/evaluating post-event.
  • Ensure delegate experience and event accessibility is continually improving and adapting with sector
  trends.
  • Working with the Digital Engagement Officer to support the ongoing development of our Pulse
  community platform and other digital platforms for event management and hosting.
  Supporting the delivery of income generation strategy targets in associated with the events portfolio:
  • Assess and develop our events offer by creating innovative and exciting approaches that build income
  for the charity.
  • Support the delivery and expansion of our global presence by working with overseas colleagues to
  support aspects of programme delivery through events.
  • Working with the External Engagement Coordinator to identify new, and steward existing, sponsors
  and exhibitors for the THET event portfolio.
